Clear Complexion Face Moisturizer
We include in this moisturizer two imperative oils: avocado & apricot oil. Why?Avocado oil is full of vitamins A and C which benefit your skin in preventing free radical damage. It is also full of essential fatty acids that help moisturize, heal, prevent signs of aging and heal acne. Avocado oil is a wonderful oil for eczema or psoriasis as well. Apricot oil also contains vitamin E which helps improve your skin's elasticity and gamma linoleic acid that comes from the fatty acid omega-6!
Other included ingredients are shea butter and vitamin E oil. Both of these work together to penetrate deeply into the skin to increase elasticity, suppleness, acne scarring and prevent signs of aging. They also both work in the favor of those with eczema or psoriasis. We do include two purely natural, vegan emulsifiers. All this means is that they help thicken the moisturizer.
Grapefruit seed extract is a wonderful natural preservative. Ya don't want mold in your lotion! It also contains some good antioxidants.
Here is a list of the included essential oils and what they provide:
- carrot seed (slight sun protection (SPF 35-40), anti-fungal, anti-oxidants)
- tea tree (anti-bacterial, fights to keep pores clear of debris)
- lavender (calming, soothing, anti-inflammatory)
- thyme (designed to balance oily and acne prone skin, balances skin texture, keeps skin clear, creates a radiant complexion)
- cedarwood (anti-microbial, fights to keep break outs at an all-time low, astringent, skin-balancer, soothing)
Best used morning & night following your cleansing, toning, eye creams/roll ons, serums THEN moisturize. A little goes a long way. Only apply a dime size amount to face & neck area
