If you're anything like me, a good lip gloss can top of the perfect outfit! I needed a little something I could carry around with me that was natural, moisturizing, and that added a little shimmer whenever I needed it. So, I created a lip gloss that is all of those things in one tube!
Natural Lip Gloss
- mica powder for shimmer
- pure unrefined castor oil
- pure jojoba oil
- light essential oil for scent (marjorum, chammomile, peppermint, clary sage)
Lip gloss doesn't have to be full of chemicals and harsh ingredients that only strip your lips of their moisture. Lip gloss should be moisturizing, nourishing, and with a little shimmer for us girls!
We combine a carefully crafted blend of pure jojoba oil and pure unrefined castor oil for the ultimate moisturizing effects. Jojoba oil is full of vitamin E, which helps prevent your lips from experiencing damage from free radicals. It adds a protective barrier to your lips as well to prevent moisture loss, leaving them hydrated for hours afterwards. Jojoba also contains anti-inflammatory properties making it ideal for preventing cracked, flaky lips. Castor oil is a wonderful addition, as it not only adds a little viscosity to the gloss, but its also full of a fatty acide called ricinoleic acid that penetrates into the deep layers of the lips for lasting hydration as well.
We added a little natural mica powder for some shimmer, whether you are a gal who likes pearls or a gal who loves pink!
Because the oils are slightly different consistencies, and because our product is completely natural, you may notice a little separation amongst the products. That's perfectly normal! Just give your bottle a quick shake or roll between the hands, and you've got a perfectly good, ready to go lip gloss!
